Nodaway County health officials confirm seven more COVID-19 cases


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed seven more cases of COVID-19 in the county.

The latest patients are from Monday. They are a girl in her teens, a woman in her 30s, a man in his 40s, a man in his 50s, two men in their 60s, and a woman in her 80s.

This now brings the total number of cases in the county up to 726; 50 of those cases are still active. Northwest Missouri State University says 18 of those active cases involve Northwest students or employees.

Health officials continue to strongly urge the public to social distance when possible and practice good hygiene.
